The Men's Open Lacrosse schedule has been changed. Please check to make sure that you have the correct game time. THERE ARE NO MORE BYES! If you had a bye week, you now have a game! The 2nd session of men's open outdoor will be starting up after playoffs on August 6th. The session will run 9 weeks taking us to the first week of October. Please let the CNYFSC staff know if your team will be returning. New teams call 638-8866 to register. The cost will be $595 per team for 8 games and playoffs.

It's that time again! Sign ups are beginning soon for Fall Indoor Lacrosse 2008!! The age groups are going to be the Boys Future Stars (5/6th Grade), Boys Modified, Boys JV, Girls 2nd Division and Girls Premier. Leagues begin the week of October 20th, but hurry and sign up because spots fill fast!! The brochure can be downloaded to the right of this page un download brochures. The next session for our Micro-Soccer program is scheduled for August 4th - September 29th. The program is ideal for beginner players ages 3 - 8 and is held every Monday from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

The groups are split up by age and ability. The registration form is to the right of the page under download brochures. If you have any additional questions feel free to contact the Sports Centre and a member of our staff will be happy assist you.

The 2008 Summer Soccer Camp schedule is now posted. We will run 3 weeks of camp throughout the summer. The 1st week will be held June 30th - July 3rd, 2nd week July 14th - July 17th, and the last week of the Summer Camp series will be August 4th - August 7th. Each camp will consist of 4 days, Monday - Thursday, and will run from 9am - 12noon. All ages 4 - 15 are encouraged to attend. The groups will be divided up by age and ability.

Each camp will be broken down into age, ability, field player and goalkeeper groups. The Field Player camp is tailored to both the inexperienced and advanced player. Our younger campers will receive training focused on technique and basic tactics giving them the skills necessary for success. Advanced players will be challenged to perform skills at speed and encouraged to develop their ability to read the game and play at a higher level.

The Goalkeeper camp will be run during all 3 weeks. Goalkeepers are an essential part to any soccer team. Keepers need the proper training to become the best at their position. The keeper camp will include training in Footwork, Covering Angles, Shot Stopping, Ball Handling, Starting Positions & Knee Hip Shoulder Diving.

The Central New York Family Sports Centre is proud to welcome Strides of CNY Total Strength and Conditioning to the centre. Strides of CNY is expanding from their Cicero Commons Complex and is now open at The CNY Family Sports Centre. Check out the Strides of CNY website link on the side of the page.

The CNY United Academy will kick off on June 8th. It will be held on Sunday Evenings from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. The Academy will consist of 10 sessions from June 8th - August 24th (no sessions on June 15th or July 20th).

We will train the players for 45 minutes and then assign each player to a team for games. The games will be two 20 minute halves. The main objective is to allow the Academy players to use what we did in training in the games.

Former New York Yankee and 2008 Baseball Hall of Famer, Goose Gossage put on a pitching demonstration during the New York Association of Convenience Stores welcome party for their annual Trade Show & Convention. The event which hosted about 350 people was a great success. Check out Event Coordinator Jon Ramin with the Goose himself!
